St. Augustine is the most uniquely historic city in Florida. It is the oldest city of the USA with a beautiful waterfront, a Spanish fortress and stunning architecture at every turn. One of the most enjoyable ways to view such beauty is from the water onboard the Schooner Freedom.
The Schooner Freedom is the only schooner charter vessel between Charleston and the Florida Keys. Captain John Zaruba, and his wife, Admiral Sarah brought the 76 foot Freedom to St. Augustine in 2001.
The Schooner Freedom is a gaff-rigged topsail schooner like the blockade runners of the early 1800s and is listed as one of the top ten attractions in St. Augustine by USA Today.
The Schooner Freedom offers relaxing Day, Romantic Sunset, and Enchanting Moonlight Sails, as well as a variety of special events throughout the year.

Captain John and Admiral Sarah love to share their passion and love of sailing with others. We have sailed with them twice and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Both the Captain and Admiral spend time interacting with their guests and answering any questions one may have.
The Schooner Freedom in St. Augustine, Florida is the perfect way to view the historic city in a wonderfully relaxing way.
